On Accreditation of Foreign Journalists to Cover the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit
Dear representatives of foreign media!
On July 4, 2024, the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held at the Independence Palace in Astana under the chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event will be attended by the Heads of State and Government of Kazakhstan, China, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Qatar, UAE, Türkiye and Turkmenistan, as well as the SCO Secretary-General and the Executive Director of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure. The UN Secretary-General and the heads of such international organizations as the CIS, OECD, CICA, CSTO, EEC and IOFS are invited to the Summit.
During the meeting, it is planned to consider a wide range of topical issues contributing to further strengthening of the SCO’s role in solving current international and regional issues.
To obtain accreditation, it is necessary to complete the attached form and send it via email to mfakzaccreditation@gmail.com by 12 a.m. June 21, 2024.
A press center will function for media representatives on July 3-4, 2024 in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation at 57, Tauelsizdik Avenue, Astana.
